In an alley between 4 and 8 Battery Street, Peter Baldassari works on his labor of love. Arrayed on the brick walls are thousands of images of saints. Baldassari, 63, says his passion for the saints began in childhood when he accumulated a shoebox of holy cards. Now people come from all over the world to visit All Saints Way and to give him new images. "Visitors have never seen anything like this," he says. One of the most recent image he hung was that of Elizabeth Ann Seton, 1774-1821, who started the first American parochial school and who, in 1975, was the first native-born American to be canonized. The Boys of Summer 2009

Sobrang siksikan ang tao! Parang anti-sona rally sa Fairview ang last summer concert sa MDC Hatch Shell. Kaya ito lang po ang na-snap ko picture (salamat sa 18X zoom) ng Beach Boys with Mike Love and ang part-time member na si John Stamos, who crisscrossed between guitar and drums. The show was a real blast from the past, singing all their hits like Surfin' USA, California Girls -this is really one of the best treats this summer. The Beach Lolos este boys still going strong in their fifth decade.

San Rocco's Procession

San Rocco or San Roque's procession starts at Saint Leonard of Port Maurice Church located at the corner of Hanover and Prince Streets. It stops every few meters so devotees could hang garlands of money and pray to San Rocco. Saint Rocco's procession is the Saint featured in the movie The Godfather Part II.

Pwes bitbit ang baong bingoongang baboy con adobo (hey! what the hell is that smell?) at isang kalderong kanin, may I sugod ora mismo kami sa pampang ng Charles River. Hataw ang 3 Dog at ang Temps. Todo hataw din ang mga tita en tito, lolo at lolang hip na gumigiling sa maharot na tugtogan. Wa silang paki sa mundo. Tripping and flashback sila sa 60's, atsaka 70's. Siguradong ubos na naman ang Bengay sa CVS drugstore. Pero sa totoo lang timeless talaga ang mga classsic rock atsaka soul. Nakisakay na din me. Teka nga asan ba yung salompas ko?
